I wanna hear from some Mississippians who has obtain there permits and there experience

I am not from Mississippi, but I have two friends that have a MS firearms license. They had to go to the nearest highway patrol headquarters and fill out proper paperwork, pay the $130ish fee, and wait approximately 2 to 3 months. I hooe this somewhat helps you.

I am from Mississippi and have conceal permit with the enhanced carry permit which allows me to carry everwhere except in a prison, jail,etc., highway patrol, police dept, etc. Court Room, and places of lude dancing. I can carry ever where else. In Mississippi u can download application, fill it out attach photo, get it noterized, and carry it to highway patrol office, get fingerprinted and give them 132.00 and received licence in about two months or less. To get the enhanced license, you have take a eight hour course from a state approved instructor. The way the enhanced permitt reads, i can carry in bars, schools, churches, places that have "no weapons allowed" posted on enterances. I personnally don't think the enhanced carry will last long.
