    Default National Conceal Cary

Does anyone know where this bill is in the government. I heard the house passes it but have not seen anything sense.

I heard it was in the senate. Knowing this government it will most likely die there.

Its a low priority but it'll go the Senate next. You can monitor legislation like this by simply going to the NRA website.

HR822 was passed in November by a wide majority in the House. It then went to the Senate. I know that a Senator is waiting to 'attatch' 822 to another bill to get it passed by the Senate. Believe it or not it has a good chance to pass. Two years ago there was a national reciprocity bill that passed the Senate with 58 votes, 2 shy of the 60 required. Since then there was the 2010 elections and more pro-gun Senators were elected. Will Obama sign it? Remember it is an election year and if the bill is part of a larger bill he wants he will sign it, like the National Park carry bill. Hr 822 is badly needed and it is too bad that a FEW gun rights supporters are not on board. Do a google search to get the EXACT wording of the bill AS PASSED to decide for yourself. The NRA ILA is a good source to see the status of any gun bill whether Federal or State. Your rights to carry should not end at the state line and 822 will change it for the good.

There should not be a problem for the Senate to pass this right through. After all isn't the Senate controlled by Senator Harry Reid, a supporter of the 2A and life member of the NRA? Should be a done deal, right? How much money did the NRA contribute to his re-election?
