I'm tending to be a little troll leery these days as well...A lot of suspicious questions from people with very few posts....
But to answer one question, I would not put it on an application for a non-security job, but it makes sense of a security job and I don't think there is anyway it should show up on a back ground check, why would it?

The point of a CCW is that it is CONCEALED. I carry a lot of places everyday and it never becomes an issue. Somebody got nosy one time about something under my hoodie and asked if I was carrying a gun. I looked up and down and said "nope" and walked away. As far as carrying at work, if it is a large company there is probably a ban of some sort about weapons of any kind in employee behavior. If your company truly does not have a no weapons policy then for the love of God keep your mouth shut about it. Please don't be that guy, the one that brings up some point about a policy that doesn't exist just to clarify that it doesn't exist and speaks it into existence. If it ain't broke DON'T FIX IT.
