wel las far as where u cannto CCW. Here in Wa State any place that bars ppl under 21 (alcohol sales), post secondary school unless your the parent picking up your child , police department (because of a jail), restricted area of court house or airport but you may carry in the un restricted areas. To signs saying "no weapons" you can CCW in these places , you cannot open carry. because if the owner ask you to leave you must do so. but if you ccw no one knows (this is the point in carrying as well). Those with " no guns" signs are generally not to federal code and not enough description to actually be lawful or deter anyone. Cant speak for "gun free" zones.

In Iowa, you can be 1000' from a school with a firearm, but I don't know how that works if you live next to one or have to drive by one. My instructor didn't clear that one up for me.

I would look at the legal requirements of the states you travel to.

Don't trust your freedom to information from a website. Unless it is the states' website where you can find the legal requirements.

Folks mean to help but sometimes they think they have the correct answers but do not. Laws change, and it might have been legal six months ago but is not now....
