Depends on where you are.
Here in Oregon, Concealed Handgun License records are a "public record", but individuals may request that their status be withheld for safety reasons, and their status is automatically excluded from records requests. And most of the county sheriffs have on their CHL forms a simple "I request my record be kept private" checkbox or separate form included with the main CHL form.
In Utah, thank goodness NO! Lists are not public record.
Not in TX or FL either. That list is only available to law enforcement.

It's not considered public record in Washington State. So, it's truly concealed carry...you wont know it until fate intervenes! :)
It's public record in Ohio. although it is really none of anyone's business.
I'm pretty sure its not public here either
