    Default Taurus 24/7 advice

I recently got a .40 cal Taurus 24/7 full size. Got any advice for conceal carry in Alabama (clothing style, holster, etc.)? Eventually, I want to oc, but seeing as how racial profiling might go against me, I'll have to build up the courage to do that.

By the way, this is my first post.

i've got the 24/7 .45 in the compact and it's not too bad. i have an OWB and IWB holster, depending on what i'm wearing. i prefer to wear the OWB under a jacket this time of year. my IWB is a galco and the OWB is a fobus paddle.

Looser clothing and a good IWB will take you far. For an IWB, I recommend a http://n82tactical.com/n82store/, all the reviews I've seen on youtube and other places say this is a good holster. It's really comfortable, and the price is just right. For clothing, a size bigger shirt/pants do the trick. A good belt is must too lol Hope some of this helps!

I carry the pro ds full size .45 in a tuckable iwb holster and two spare mags I can conceal it with a normal t shirt. Then again I'm 6'2 240 lbs.

Holster from the holster store online. Crossbreed makes a holster for them as well. Albeit a better holster just more expensive.

Check out the Full Moon style from Kholster.com I've tried their Crescent model with a Mil Pro .45 and it was a nice, comfortable fit.

Just a little heads up OP, my son has a .40 24/7 and it began to shoot 2-3 rounds with one pull of the trigger. Not at all saying the brand or model is bad...just be alert. My son is off in the military now and I don't believe he has had it looked at so I don't know the problem.
