    Talking 1911 Officers IWB??

Hey yall. Just ordered my first 1911 a few minutes ago, a 3.5 inch officers model. Looking at all these different brands of holsters, anyone have any postive experiences with a good LEATHER IWB holster?? On a side note what about magazines? I know Wilson Combat mags are good, just looking to know who has postive feedback or negitive feedback on what. THANKS YALL!!!

Try Tucker Gunleather or TT Gunleather. Their designs differ a lot. I highly recommend Wilson Combat magazines. I trust them with my life.

Crossbreed holsters hands down the best IWB holster no matter what gun or caliber (kydex & leather)

I carry OWB in a Bianchi carrylok with Chip Mccormic 8rnd mags with bump pad. Don't worry, you'll try all kinds just like the rest of us. It's some sort of personal hazing right of passage.... On the bright side, a lot of holsters makes the man room smell good :)

I second the Crossbreed holster. I have one and can carry any of my 1911 with it. As far as Magazines, I have Wilson Combats, Chip McCormick, Kimber, SFArmory, and Ed Brown and all of them are quality magazines IMO.

If you like WC mags you'll love the Tripp Research Cobra mags.

I have carried a Colt Officers for many years. After trying a few, I found the one I like best. Safariland belt slide. High-riding bikini holster. Not sure of the model.

The crossbreed and the bianchi carrylok are both excellent. I also use the smart carry and just discovered Cobra Gunskin Classics. I use all for different seasons of the year. I do like the man cave smell as well. Kudo's!!!

I use a White Hat IWB - Leather back with kydex. I love it. It carries my Kimber Ultra Carry II with a 3" barrel very nice.

Tucker Gunleather. Like most people, I have drawers full of holsters, and the ones I use the most are my Tuckers. Well made, easy to draw from, and excellent concealment.
