1) Ruger LCR .357 with Hogue Tamer grips.
2) Usually carried in a IWB holster at 4 o'clock.
3) I usually carried 2 speed strips in my pocket.
4) I put a night site on. I can't remember what brand.
I found that the LCR tucked really well because of how short it was and the curve of the grip. I did find the grip a tad bulky at times. A boot grip or the laser grip would have helped with that. I have since switched to a LC9 for EDC. I do miss the LCR from time to time though...

Thanks for all of the comments! :) I currently carry an H&K P30, which is a full framed semi-auto. Larger heavier guns don't scare me that much. Although, I do see the big advantage to a snub nose.
I've never heard of speed strips. I'll have to look it up.
I'm looking at a Ruger SP101 with either a 3" or a 4" barrel. I'm a little leary of snub nosed revolvers because of a lady that was in my CCW class who had one and had significant trouble hitting the paper with it, but could hit the target readily when using a larger revolver (GP100 I think).
For those of you who carry OWB, what do you use to counter balance the firearm?

I have an Iver Johnson safety auto hammerless 38s&w revolver. It is a 5 shot with about a 3 and 1/4 inch barrel. Approximately 20 ounces. (Unloaded)
It has a little bark and a tad of a muzzle hop. But I can put all 5 shots on paper quickly and accurately.
I carry iwb at 3 in a formed leather holster.
Now for speed loaders. I have two in my pockets. One on each side. I also carry an extra 5 bullets loose in my left pocket (not really loose but in a cloth bag)
This revolver is an original from 1909 and has no modifications.
I love it.
1) Ruger LCR .38S+P with Hogue Tamer grips. 13.5 oz unloaded. < 2" barrel.
2) I usually carry in a Uncle Mikes #36 IWB holster at 4 o'clock. OWB Desantis holster or in front pocket(in a pocket holster of course) when at home.
3) I don't carry speed loaders or strips yet.
4) No mods yet. Night sight will be my first mod.
Nice little gun, but takes some practice to hit the paper with that short barrel and DA only. However, the trigger is nice. I am a much better shot with my Ruger GP100 4" .357, but it is so darn large and heavy for me to CC.
1. LCR 38SP
2. Inside front Pocket Blackhawk! holster $15
3. 5 shots is enough
4. the newer-lighter Hogue grip, cost $15 on eBay Nothing else needed
Great gun. Shoots as fast as you can point it; don't need an autoloader
He who claims to carry any gun in an ankle holster has never actually needed to get
a gun out of one in a hurry, unless he sits down all the time like a truck driver.
He who claims to carry a gun in the small of his/her back has never fallen down and
landed on his/her back or never has had to sit down all the time in an office chair.
YMMV.
