Can I possibly be permitted to carry there? What do I have to do to make it legal for me to carry in Jamaica?
If this is possible, my next thread will be about getting the gun there legally. Calling TSA and whatnot.
Thanks in advance for any info!
might be able to put it in your checked baggage but you also may want to check their laws about bringing a gun there first
gun control is being able to hit your target

You can't carry in Jamaica, as far as flying with guns, have it in a hard sided locked case and declare it when you check it. Not a big deal, no need to call and get permission. Just check the airlines policy a head of time, making TSA happy is easy. Getting there a little early never hurts.
All the specifics are on TSA's website.

You cannot bring a firearm into Jamaica. Also cannot bring in mace or pepper spray. There is a requirement to get permission but don't expect to get it. Get caught with a firearm, a round of ammo, or the sprays, you go to Jamaica jail mon! Just like the fools that think possession of marijuana in Jamaica is legal. Jamaican jails are even worse than Mexican jails. Awrii...
No guns. People are murdered by machete in Jamaica.![]()
