revolver carry ?

I am new to concealed carry but have been around guns my whole life hunting and range. I have a ruger sp101 .357 mag hammerless with a iwb holster that I carry every day. I would like to hear peoples views and opinions on carrying a revolver vs my s&w m&p 40

Ok I'm a semi-auto guy! That being said I have a jframe for pocket carry. Not sure what your looking for but generally for the same weight as a revolver you get double the round count, and easier reloads in a semi auto platform.
Now I've seen video of revolver guys that are just as fast as the Semi guys are, but that's a lot of practice. In general I'd say that for most people a semi auto will be easier to shoot and faster to reload!
That being said carry what your most comfortable with.

Revolvers have their pros and cons. I have a jframe smith that I use for pocket carry. I put a Crimson Trace grip on it and for me it's the perfect summer carry piece. It's all about what u r wearing and where u r going.

Depends on what youre better with, and youre preferrences are. That said, my edc is a. 357 mag ruger police service six. Now i will add, that with a semi, once you blow through your mag/s, reloading a revolver is quicker and easier than reloading a mag.

It is really about you carry situation. I love my SandW. Airweight 38+p and always carry it because of dress clothes. I like carrying my Glock but it scares customers so thats not good. There is the whole confidence thing with pocket carry and insufficient cleaning it could jam. Now my Glock has never jammed .since day one beut you here stories. Carry the gun you can carry always and always carry it .

I just bought myself a Taurus Judge for mother's day. :o) I can hardly wait to take it to the range. I'll be sending off for my CCW this week. This will be my first revolver.

I have both and like both, 38spl. Air weight and a sig p238 .380, the revolver doesn't lend itself to pocket carry for me, I like the revolver for overall confidence, you pull the trigger and it will go off, no question about jams, or missed ejects. My sig has never failed at the range but there is always a first time.

Also Bought my wife an airweight with Crimson Trace, for the same reasons as above, she doesn't have to remember to do anything Except hold that muzzle on target. And squeeze
