If I carry a BUG I prefer to carry something that is compatible w/ my normal carry. For instance, a CZ75B and a CZ 2075 RAMI. both in .40 S&W so I only need one type of magazine.

I usually carry either a Sig P250 in 45 or a 1911 as my primary and a Kahr CW9 as my backup

No back up in this Texas heat, just my .45 in my Smartcarry in the summertime. Although in the fall and winter time, I do have a back up. The .46 is IWB and my Kel-Tec .380 is riding on my ankle.
Main carry is a LCP .380. The back up's are Bond Ranger 45/410 and a North American Arms .22.
Backup is a Ruger .380/ husband has a KelTec 32. Main carry is 9 or 40 or the 38 sp. Its whatever you are comfortable with
when out with my wife, she IS backup ...
otherwise, LC9 primary, and Sig P238 as backup, worn in Galco ankle holster.

I usually carry my Taurus 24/7 OSS .45 as my primary and a PT140 or M&P .40 as a back up.

Main is my glock 23 back up is my Taurus tcp 380 once in a while in the winter I carry my glock 23 and my Springfield Xd 40 in a shoulder rig
