Default CC weapon

I currently carry a Kahr E9, basically it's easy to conceal but only holds seven rounds (I do have an extra mag). I am often in shorts and a tshirt on days off so this has been working pretty well. After trying a whole slew of different CC options I recently had a custom inside the pant holster made from Wolfe's Den, wow what a difference. Actually I had planned to sell The Kahr and carry my Sig 239 (just slightly larger) because it's so much more accurate single action. This was the plan until I spent some time at the range actually drawing from the CC holster practicing to get that first round off. That's when I came to appeciate the Kahr, it's very smooth on the first round as well as the rest. Also my wife has declared that the Sig is now her personel weapon (and to throw the 38 in the trash Ha). I occasionally have reason to carry on the job in a standard outside the pant strong side carry with a H&K USP compact in 40 cal. I love the gun, I just not sure it's easily concealed...ie I've been too cheap to go out and buy CC holsters for it. Any ideas anyone?

I carry as my main weapon the gun pictured on my avatar. A Springfield-Armory XD-SC 9mm with a 3 inch barrel.

Default Any M1911 primary carry fans?

My primary carry is an Ed Brown Kobra .45 ACP in a "Pager Pal" holster. It goes with me everywhere. I havn't seen many replys to this thread from others who carry 1911s. Anyone else out there a fellow 1911 carrier?

I carry a S&W 649 .357mag, SS. Yep, it's heavier than the alloy snubbies, but I practice a lot, and I like the extra weight, especially since I do chamber the .357mag round. I have found that a well-made, heavy belt, at least 1.5 inches wide makes all the difference. My dress belts were not up to the job. I bought one from Don Hume, at about $38 - the best investment for concealed carry, or open carry for that matter. I also use the IWB leather holster from Hume. It's a good combo, and I can use it 'strong side' or 'sob'. I'm new to concealed carry, so there may be better solutions. This works for me, now.

Oh, almost forgot - I ordered a 'silver-dollar' pancake holster from Simply Rugged Holsters
- an OWB holster for $45. We'll see how it works out.

Usually either my G21 SF or G20 "SF". Today is my S&W 642 in my pocket. I also have a Sig P229 ST Elite.

MTAC is my holster of choice.
