FL Permits, Plastic or Paper?

What do the FL CWL look like? Are they cheap paper, or are they like our driver licenses?

I know FL is usually a step ahead when it comes to material for cards, but I've never seen a FL CWL.

I should be lucky and get mine in a few weeks, but I'm curious as to what to expect.

Expect a nice plastic license, with your photo in the plastic. My photo was a little out of shape, but hell, it made me look better.

Lucky. The VA ones are paper and you have to laminate it yourself. Looks like an old library card.

That's good, it's what I expected from FL. This state has always seemed very modern.

For what they cost they should be etched in gold, but the hard plastic will do. Makes modification pretty much impossible.

Have you seen the current cost of gold? It is a bargain now that they are good for 7 years before you have to renew!
