Tactipac Fusionpac for Fat Guys I just saw an ad for the Tactipac Fusionpac holster. I've been looking for something that would work for someone with a generous helping of love handles. Anyone here that fits that description have any experience or comments on this holster?

I bought one of these about 6 months ago thinking the same thing as you as well as looking for something I could hide under a button up shirt. For me this was not the answer. It keeps working up out of the top of belt in my pants over it no matter how I try to hang this thing on me. If you are standing or walking it's pretty much ok but sitting, stooping or anything like that and this holster walks up on me. Stick with the Crossbreed. I have the 'love handle' thing going on and the Crossbreed works well to conceal the 4" XD40 EDC. The leather backing is comfortable for me and the belt clips keep it from 'riding' anywhere.

I've been thinking about trying one. I have a comptac minotaur but I'm not real happy with it and thought the CB might work better since it looks like it has more surface area.
I had just asked on another forum today how that would work for a fat guy. That's been another consideration of mine.
I wonder if Tactipac is still in business? Have sent two e-mails the past week w/o response and they do not post a phone number. I liked the idea of carrying at the 4 0'clock with a dedicated waistband and holster as you could gun up w/o having to have a full set of trousers and belt to manipulate in the middle of the night. Still not sure about the Smart Carry groin position esp. when sitting or driving.

Yes. They are still in business. I have had 2 emails returned this week, it just takes them about 5 days to reply. Also thinking of getting this holster, so don't have to rely on a belt if not wearing clothes where a belt isn't an option.
My e-mails returned a couple of days ago - I'm ordering the Fusion Pak. Nice folks there and the two videos are good for each of the two holster styles.
