Expandable Batons ??

Are expandable batons legal for carry in a vehicle, in CT

As far as I know, they are not allowed to be carried at all. I do armed Secuirty and have and carry a baton. Short of coming to and from work, I can't carry it in another capacity. Pretty sure I came across this info while getting all my licensing or research on my own. Can't remember which.
