Default Have you ever had to draw your handgun?

Just wondering if anyone has had to draw your weapon on a BG?
How did you handle the situation? What was the outcome?

    Thumbs up Once or twice

This could be a long list so we'll leave out incidents that occurred outside the USA & include only handguns, we'll leave out long guns.

    As a LEO/Narco Investigator:
-Drawn to 'Low Ready'- - - Lost count, 50+
    -Drawn to 'On Target' - - - 25+
    -Rounds Fired - - - 7 (Hits = 7)

    As Security/Force Protection:
    -Drawn to 'Low Ready' - - - 25+
    -Drawn to 'On Target' - - - 10+

    As Armored Car Officer:
-Drawn to 'Low Ready' - - - 6 (Not including areas where LR was the norm while outside the truck)
    -Drawn to 'On Target' - - - 1

As private citizen with no official purpose (like the above):
    -Drawn to 'On Target' - - - 1

Currently an Instructor for LEO & Private Citizens. 33 State CCW, NRA, Security & Armored Car Licensing and my personal favorite, Aerial Platform Marksmanship (shooting from Helicopters).

No, but I am sort of artistic so I probably could draw it if I had to.

I suppose it depends on your location, but in Utah the license reads "Armored Car Security Officer" and in most other States a similar license is required. Also in Utah it is a different class of license than "Armed Security Guard" and "Un-Armed Security Guard". But either way, it's just a title.
