    Good for her, I hope she can cope with the after shock. I just wonder if the 911 operators are trained to say silly things like that, this isn't the first time I have heard that type of answer from a an operator. You always have to be prepared.

    Nowhere in that tape did I hear the dispatcher tell the woman to put the gun down like some of you said....I heard "calm down" and "she put the phone down" as she was talking to another dispatcher. Maybe you all heard a different version or something. Here is one that I heard.

    You must not have listened closely. All of us can hear the dispatcher try to convince her not to use her gun.

    That is a completely different incident...listen to the call being discussed...the one at the link in the original post of the correct incident and you will hear what others do:

    Oops! musta had a few too many beers. I assumed these were the same incident but apparently not. Same scenario but in different states, CA, and IN. Sorry for being a putz people
