Some of you may have already heard about this, but supposedly the 911 tape was just released yesterday of a 66 year old woman shooting a man breaking into her house.

I wanted to punch the dispatcher when she said put the gun down. She might as well have said " put your gun down so he can get in quicker to harm you before the police arrive in 15"

This had to be the hardest thing she ever had to do. But thank god she armed herself and took action. One less victim and one less bad guy. +1 for her. Hope she won't ever have to do it again but at least she is still alive and unharmed for the most part.

Good for her..... Glad it turned out the way it did, that dispatcher should be ashamed of herself telling someone to unarm themselves when someone is actively breaking into your home, what an idiot !

Dispatcher is an idiot but it doesn't surprise me (Nor Cal). I hope this woman gets some help to help her cope with potential Mark of Cain issues, she sounded pretty shook up by the ordeal.
