Right after it happened I sent this story to my wife and told her that she really needs to start going to the range with me. Last Friday she did and we had a ball. I’m not sure if it was that we live in Oklahoma and have been to the town where it happened or if it was a single mom who did what needed to be done but it has opened my wife’s eyes to the fact that I may not be there or able to protect her and my son. Every Friday, weather permitting, we have a date at the range.
