This support group will meet as required in order for us to maintain our NEED for Desert Eagle info.

Built by Israelis because they understand the need to drop a bad-guy first time every time.

My DE is a 44 mag. It is a fun shooter. The best thing I like about it is: it forces good recoil control and good handling practices. Limp wrist this and it will stovepipe every time. When I can run 4-5 mags with out a malfunction I am doing it right.

I prefer to use it as my training tool. My 45acp recoil control and back on target is smoother shots are quicker tighter groups.

I would not use this as personal defense because of the solid stances required.

It a toy and I got it because I always wanted one not knowing it a good training tool.

Default Hi Harvey and thanks for coming

That is a problem with any huge caliber Auto. The 44automag was notorius for unmanageable recoil.

WOW you would never guess it had a recoil problem watching girls in the movies shoot it 1 handed.

44 mag is a very favorite of mine. I carried a Ruger Super Blackhawk in Alaska did not leave home without it. Sold it before returning to lower 48 and NY's oppressive laws. Have another Ruger actually 2 in 44.

The DE I had always wanted had never shot one and had never seen anyone shot one for real. It is a fist full. I shoot it pretty damn good. Learning to handle/control the recoil was the best feeling I've gotten. The DE has improved all of my 45acps I shoot. I shoot my 45's much faster better control and better hits.
