I do not have my permit yet but should soon and I am still trying to make my mind up on holsters and little things like carry gear. I have a XD .40 with a 4" barrel. Right now I have a holster from El Paso saddle company that is kind of like a high ride OWB. I'll get a picture up tomorrow hopefully. However I m unsure as to how well it will work for me... reason being is that it seems like the grip prints too much. Any advice?

Also just curious as to what you all see as carry essentials. Thanks

So after finally getting the merchant on the phone and getting the issue to him it only took 5 mos give or take for me to get the holster I ordered onto my belt. Holster is superb,but I wouldnt recommend buying from CCW Supply. I wonder if I wait 5 mos to ship the holster back that I received in error will the CCW Supply guy be calling me back wondering where his holster is? Or should I answer only every other call that he places. If you're gonna buy from CCW Supply,be aware of this. Otherwise great holster.
