Proposed "Fix Gun Check Act" / McCarthy & Schumer Bills

NY Congresswoman McCarthy and her Senate counterpart Chuckie Schumer have introduced almost identical legislation to "Fix Gun Checks" that will greatly expand the defiinition of who can not own firearms. It is a clear example of over-reaching legislation that is just the lefts latest effort to thin down who in America is eligible to own a firearm. Please read it and then call or contact your federal representatives.

My reply to the bill is:
"Both bills include a section dedicated to further codifying in federal law what it means to be “adjudicated as a mental defective.” The proposed change would label any person a “mental health defective” who appears to “lack the mental capacity to contract or manage his own affairs,” or is “compelled” to receive counseling or medication."

Remember that time that the doctor prescribed Valium to help calm you down when your father, mother, spouse or sibling passed away? WELL THAT JUST RENDERED YOU INELIGIBLE TO PURCHASE OR OWN A FIREARM OF ANY TYPE UNDER THIS BILL! You reacted NORMALLY to a stressful period in your life, it is NOT PERMANENT, but the record of it and the disqualification that you face is, under this bill from the Anti-Gun Schumer and McCarthy from New York!!

It is a ruse that they are playing in the political arena that they see as a way to insure that fewer Americans are able to own firearms.

What about the police officer who is involved in his first on-duty shooting, where he killed the man who was holding you hostage? Department regulations normally require that the officer meet with the department shrink and might have to take some time off because of the "Post-Shooting Stress" that any NORMAL human being would feel. Because he had to see the shrink, take some time off and maybe take prescription medication to calm his nerves; under this bill, he is rendered ineligible to purchase, own or use a firearm. Does his career end, just because of this bill?

Call your representatives (Congressional Representative or State Senator) and voice your opposition to this vague and far reaching bill to destroy the 2nd Amendment!

What else would you expect from politicians in NY and the voters who keep electing them?

They fear armed citizens. Armed citizens represent a resistance to the liberal agenda of complete domination and elimination of any freedom loving and free thinking individual who embraces anything American...

I guess chucky boy and the sad excuse for a congresswoman, Carolyn, will be checking medicine cabinets. Whatever the case, this bill is going nowhere. To say nothing about opposition from 2nd amendment organizations, mental health organizations will be fighting this as well. chucky and his sick girlfriend want to place people with mental diseases as second class citizens and make available a non adjucated individual's mental health record. Its alright, everytime these perverts open their mouths, the 2nd amendment supporters become more galvinized.

McCarthy is a creation of the Long Island Shooting where she lost her husband to a lunatic named Colin Furgeson on the LIRR commuter train. He was a mentally disturbed man who walked down the railroad car executing people. When he stopped to reload he was overpowered by commuters.

Carolyn McCarthy ran on the ticket of gun-control. She has been the author of some of the most rediculous bills ever proposed. Her entire existance is based on revenge against anyone who owns a gun. She does a great disservice to her constiuency because NY has a lot of problems and gun-control isn't exactly at the top of the list. Ms. McCarthy tried everything to get revenge, even suing the gun manufacturer and Winchester "black-talon" bullet manufacturer "Olin" for making the products that were used by the shooter. She's become fixated on gun control to the point of absurdity. One person who went to her office to tell her his opinion on illegal aliens had his guns confiscated at her request. He is suing for $5 million (GUN OWNER SUES REPRESENTATIVE CAROLYN MCCARTHY OVER GUN SEIZURES - NYPOST.com).

Now we all feel very sorry for Ms. McCarthy. Her world was destroyed in a vew seconds by an insane man with a gun. But she seeks to stop insane people from doing insane things by enacting insane laws. It's insane!

As far as Chucky Cheese Schumer? He's a schill for a vote. A crow who will pick up anything shiny. Unfortunately NYC controls the vote for the state and the dem/liberal majority of that foreign land decides our fate. These two aren't just a NY problem. They're a problem to everyone just as diane Feinstien, Barbara Boxer and many other U.S. representatives. Their legislation affects us all.

Mr. Schumer is definitely having a good time in this photo.

. If you don't live in New York and you don't know anybody that does that you can personally enlighten; and you are already educating the New York blogosphere & news papers with an online presence; contribute to a worthy candidate running against them.
