Default Who is Jeff Rossen, and why does he think this is shocking news?

This article is so laden with commie BS, I hated reading it.
For our next meeting, we bought a Glock-23 with hollow-point bullets, made to inflict serious internal damage
No sh!7 Sherlock. Try buying a gun that isn't made to inflict internal damage. The gun grabbers are getting desperate.

I googled "number of daily vehicle fatalities" this is what I got, a site that listed several causes of death.

In 2006 daily victims of all ages

    1. Major Cardiovascular Disease 2257
    2. Malignancies 1534
    3. Respiratory Disease 341
    4. Diabetes and Alzheimers 198
    5. Influenza and Tuberculosis 173
    6. Motor Vehicle accidents 124
    7. Kidney Disease 119
    8. Drug induced death 105
    9. Septicemia 94
    10. Suicide 91
    11. Firearm Injury 85
    12. Liver Disease 75
    13. Alcohol induced death 60
    14. Parkinsons 54
    15. Assault (Homicide) 51
    16. HIV disease 33
    17. Injury at work 15

    Source: San Jose State University

Homicide was #15, Motor Vehicle Accidents #6, maybe this guy and NBC should do an investigation into Automobiles?? If this guy and NBC were so concerned maybe after their first "buy", why didnt they notify the local authorities and have them arrested instead of letting them go on to sell and distribute again.
This reminds me of a paper I wrote in college about firearm safety and the low fatality rate. The professor would NOT accept the paper because of the firearm issue. So I re-wrote a paper on vehicle fatality rate, she ACCEPTED that paper. go figure.

He (Jeff) now works at MSNBC. That about sums it up.

But has anyone else noticed that in the past 5 or 6 weeks the frequency of Anti Gun Shock stories and claims has increased and is increasing?
The Assault has begun and it appears to be centrally coordinated.

They are all trying to kiss up to Bloomberg. (IMHO)

Wikipedia says (so ) Rossen will provide information that isn't substantiated and tends to lean towards violating constitutional rights. He is supported and funded by Michael Bloomberg and writes articles aimed at supporting the anti-gun community in collaboration with the Brady Campaign. His articles provide no factual data, and consist mainly of unsubstantiated quotes from the coffers of the Brady Campaign.

One of the posters there wanted to know why anyone needs a .50 cal rifle. Because the military has them. The Second Amendment was written so that if needed, the People could fight off their out of control Gov't. And by the way, Congress is violating the Constitution on the Army. No Bills for Army spending or the Army itself are supposed to be for more than two years. The idea was to not have a standing Army at the Fed Gov't's beck and call.

The whiny AG crowd are on the losing side of a short and s***ty stick and desperate to move along their lame agenda. A friend of mine worked a gun show in N. VA over the weekend and it was completely swamped, more business that weekend than in the past 4 shows. One vendor sold 250,000 rounds of just 45's and God knows how much of other cal's---that's one vendor. Many were buying up AR's, shotguns and compact handguns. He also mentioned people bringing in dollies and leaving with cases of 223 ammo, possibly for resale but doubts it. People were acting like that was the last run on arms and ammo so he was thinking something must be going to happen that everyone is heavily arming themselves. Wonder if people are taking the doomsday preppers show too seriously, although it is good to be prepared, or if another shortage was forcasted? Things that make you go hmmmmm.

He is just another gun grabber. His next story is titled "You can buy a car, no questions asked", followed by (my favorite) "You can buy a baseball bat, no questions asked".

A dozen people with Tommyguns could go thru that in about 20 minutes.
