California: Banning the bullet button (SB249) Hi everyone. First post here, and I'm sorry that I've neglected to get on here and post before (not enough time these days), but I need to share some important information with everyone. California has a bill that would ban the bullet button and many other devices, essentially creating tens of thousands of "criminals" overnight.
Obviously this is a very bad bill, but because this is California, it actually has a good chance of passing the state Senate if we can't kill it early on with petitions and so forth.
I'm posting this in the hopes that I can get fellow Californians to act by "like"ing the Facebook page, signing the petitions, and checking out the website. Calguns Foundation is the one heading this up, and if you don't know who they are their website is Calguns Foundation. They do a lot of important work in California for gun rights.

This law requires a tool to change out a magazine on a semi auto rifle. Just a step away from handguns?

Hence, someone came up with a magazine release button that cannot successfully be frobnicated by a human finger, but which can easily be so with the tip of a rifle bullet. Thus, is the common bullet turned into a magazine removal tool, rendering the magazine, for the purposes of the law, a non-detachable type.
Lefties are pissing themselves in anger over this innovation.
