Just heard on NRA News's Cam & Company, it got 5 FEWER votes this round than it got in the previous round. Of course, that means it didn't pass.

Nope, liberals don't work that way. You must realize that gun people are so ignorant they don't know what is best for them. For it is only liberals that have the good intentions and good feels to do what is best for us all. They will continue to ram this down our throats until we weaken and give in.

The technology isn't yet available to make microstamping accurate and reliable. What it will do is add between $80 & $100 to the price of a firearm. This is the real goal. The antigun crowd just wants to make it increasingly difficult to purchase a firearm.

You do not need a revolver the stamping is MICRO IE very very small. A good polishing if the firing pin would erase it. Of course all the firearm already made do not nor if a law ever passed would have it. On top of all that MD already tried this with the brass itself. Spending millions to catch no bg's even MD dropped the whole thing realizing how stupid it really was.

I've also heard microstamping technology described as a technique of using the overpressure of the detonating round to press the brass itself against the microdie on the inside of the chamber to impress the serial number on the case itself. Yeah. Let's just compromise the structural integrity of spent brass so no one at home can ever reload it again. That's a legitimate public policy purpose. And, or course, when the slide starts moving backwards, it's not like it'll drag that brass over the microdie like sandpaper and quickly erode it to illegibility anyway.

Chances of micro stamping are slim and none. The technology simply does not exist to accomplish it!
