    Default Ammo re-sale in Florida

Can anyone give me some hard data on the rules in FL (or ATFE for that matter) about re-sale/swap of ammo? I've got 150 round of .357sig that I have no use for and want to trade for an amount of something I can use. I'm not sure of the legal ramifacations of reselling/swapping ammo.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I found this info.. It was last updated June 10, 2010
There is info on many states in this document.

It is from "Legal Community Against Violence" so I'm not sure how GUN friendly they are, but the info seems to be provided in a factual nature.

I'm not sure it actually and specifically answers your question, but it sound like you need to worry more about local laws than state laws..

To be safe, you could get a copy of the persons drivers license or CWP, but remember, since this is an exchange, they are going to require the same from you...
Unless you already have a buyer in mind, why don't you post it up here, there are a number of people on the forum in the central Florida region that MAY have what you are looking for..

Here is a general discussion I found on another forum, but nothing specific quoting regulations:

Thanks HootmonSccy. Good information to know.

I went to Shoot Straight and talked to them about a trade but was told 'no can do' so I'm still holding ammo I can't use.

I have a couple of Mom and Pop shops around I want to try.

I have learned the hard way that most gun stores will not buy back/trade ammo. Because they have no way of knowing if they have been reloaded. I hope it's different down there then it is up here and it works out for you.

You may want to try a Gun Show.. You may not get "new" prices, but you might get something..
OR, Try GunBroker.com.. Just abide by the laws if shipping out of state.
