I pick up some new grips for my Bersa a few months ago and after I had them on for a while I started getting a rash where the gun touched my skin. So I removed them and the rash went away. I hadn't done anything with them till yesterday. I sanded then down and now I would like to refinish them!
What is a good thing to put on them! Oil, clear Finnish?????
When I retire I am going to move up North and drive slow!!
I would use clear polyurithan finish the satin, just the right gloss, not to shinney.......

I've had really good results using tru-oil. Here is the last set of grips I did.

Oh I like that finnish!! I went and got some today and gave them a coat. I do wish I would have got a higher gloss......

I went through all of the work to refinish my grips and they still caused a skin reaction. I had to put on the plastic ones back on..
