Default question about OC in FL

Hello everyone I am new to the forum, this is a great forum for info. I had a question about open carry in your place of business. I know that the FL statutes states that an individual can open carry on private property or business. My question is, I am an associate pastor and I am impatiently awaiting the arrival of my ccw permit, but until then on the days that I am in the office alone is it legal for me to open carry in the Church office? Thanks for any help. (by the way I haven't done this yet)

Since the pastoral team does not actually OWN the church property, I would suggest getting a letter from your employer (the elders or deacons who handle the church's finances). With such a letter in your desk drawer, you should be covered legally.
