Do Black Friday deals extend to firearms? I can't seem to find any ads for Academy or any other place likely to have BF deals.

Or would I be better off just picking one up at a gun show?

Try a gun show first. 40's are more common than SKS look-alikes.Out of 4 or 5 manufacturers you should be able to find one you like.
