Default HK .45 USP compact: Any use this for Concealed carry?

I will obtain my CCW in the next couple of weeks and have been looking for a reliable handgun that has a manual safety and decocker. The HK USP compact .45 looks really good at this point. I would be interested to hear from anyone that has this as a concealed carry gun.

    Default H&K USP compact

I have a 9mm USP compact. It is a GREAT weapon, and I can conceal it with a loose T-shirt on an OWB pancake holster @ 4 o'clock.

I am female, 5'6" and 130#. If you are any bigger than that, you should have no problem whatsoever using this weapon for CC.

I have the USP compact .40. Went with the .40 because it holds 12 + 1
Just put the XS big dot tritium on it.

Thanks for the replies. I am looking at getting a custom holster for it from the UK of all places.

It is higher riding than the Galco models that I have seen and is made specifically for the individual weapon.

I have a USPc .40 as well. I loved carrying it until I started carrying a 1911. I won't part with it though and still carry it from time to time. Easy to conceal, and fun to shoot too. I carry mine in a Silent Thunder IWB from Tucker Gunleather. Couldn't ask for much more.

Actually, I grew up in Alaska but I am now shackled in the communist state of California but I have a little freedom of travel to Idaho frequently. Hopefully they won't deny travel to those of us unfortunate not to have an escape plan from LA yet.

Alaska was a great state to grow up in. Idaho is the closest I can get to it at this time.

Ah... I see. Sorry to hear you are stuck in Commiefornia! Hopefully you will be able to devise a good escape plan soon As you stated in your OP and to follow up, I concur regarding the H&K USP. I think it will suit you well.
