Just to throw my two cents in (and that is all its worth) I have a Hi-Point C9 and love it. I know many who have them and love them as well. I have not had to send mine in for any service but they have a reputation for excellent service if an issue arises. As to size, they are bigger and a Kel-tec would suit better for CC. Although I have the C9 I also have a JA380 (Jimenez) and it is okay. I would choose the C9 over the JA380 if I were looking to purchase an inexpensive gun or that was all I could afford at the time. However, all that being said, I usually carry my Colt 1911...I just plain enjoy it. I am considering the Kel-tec 9mm option for a size issue though. Again, just my thoughts.
