Heh... I saw that on the news this morning. They should have titled the story "Today's Darwin Award winner is..."
Another testimonal for proper holster selection and basic rules of firearm safety; Mexican carry does not protect the trigger, a Smartcarry does.

Ouch! Step one is always wear a holster. Step two, remove finger from trigger. Step three very careful insert handgun into holster, verifying nothing is pressing against the trigger. Step four do not rob a convenient store.
Perhaps they make some kevlar underwear for people that cannot follow these rules. :D
