More feds arming up

Sorry if this has already been posted or de-bunked. Just ran across it, thought I'd put it up for your edification. Recently, we had the IRS adding to its arsenal. Now, the Department of Education? What the hell?

The U.S. Department of Education (ED) intends to purchase twenty-seven (27) REMINGTON BRAND MODEL 870 POLICE 12/14P MOD GRWC XS4 KXCS SF. RAMAC #24587 GAUGE: 12 BARREL: 14" - PARKERIZED CHOKE: MODIFIED SIGHTS: GHOST RING REAR WILSON COMBAT; FRONT - XS CONTOUR BEAD SIGHT STOCK: KNOXX REDUCE RECOIL ADJUSTABLE STOCK FORE-END: SPEEDFEED SPORT-SOLID - 14" LOP are designated as the only shotguns authorized for ED based on compatibility with ED existing shotgun inventory, certified armor and combat training and protocol, maintenance, and parts.
The required date of delivery is March 22, 2010.
Interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements above, no later than March 12, 2010 at 12 PM, E.S.T. Any quotes must be submitted electronically to the attention of Holly.Le@ed.gov, Contract Specialist (Contract Operations Group), with a concurrent copy to Sherese.Lewis@ed.gov, Contracting Officer (Contract Operations Group).

Guess they figured out what we already new. Public Schools are dangerous. If I were a teacher in a middle school or high school I would want to carry one and wear body armor. That kind of reminds me of an old made for t.v move called Packen It In. This guys wife, who is teaching in a high school, comes home one evening with a zip gun. The husband freaks out and asks her where she got it. She says "one of my students made it in shop class". This school makes the one on the movie Black Board Jungle look like a convent. Anyway the husband says, "that does it you are not going back". The wife replies "I can't go back they burned it down today". "The students burned the school down" the husband asks?
The wife's reply, "no the teachers did".

Now let me understand this. The feds are buying guns and the feds are trying to tell us that we cannot have guns. Does anyone with an ounce of reason understand what this is all about. Does anyone remember the loose lug in whitehouse talking about his public police force? Does anyone know who hitler was and who the brownshirts were or who the gestapo was? Does anyone know who stalin was and who the KGB were? Does anyone know what a mass murderer chairman mao was? Does anyone know the millions that were outright murdered in germany, russia and china? If you do not think this can happen here, please think again. This loose lug is a firebrand socialist and he is destroying this country so he can remake it in his image, which is not pretty. Sorry, I may be crazy and paranoid, but------. The sheep were slaughtered in germany and the sheep were slaughtered in russia, and the sheep were slaughtered in china---I will not be a sheep. I would imagine most of this will be eliminated in future history books. Progressives (Liberals) don't like history unless the are recreating it to fit their agenda.

WHY does the DOE need guns??? I can understand the FBI and U.S. Marshalls, and even the IRS, but DOE???

Do they think the proposed universal curriculum is going to be THAT unpopular? I guess the next step is to issue shotguns to Pelosi and Reid so they can get osamacare passed.
