Good for him!! Too bad he wasn't armed, it could have gone even smoother.

He did what he had to do but man, this could have turned out bad for the GG. Yeah, he shoulda been armed...maybe he'll be a convert after this experience.

That's great the way it went down. Glad there were witnesses to say that there were other accomplices with guns. If not and the robber was shot with his own gun I bet there would be some DA that would charge the GG with manslaughter at least.

Good job GG. I'd rather have my own gun then have to take it from the BG but either way GG got to go home and see his family.

Glad it turned out that good. You never know how it's going to come out in the struggle when the barrel is going all directions and you never know when theres a finger on the trigger. Having your own gun for the most part eliminates that need and you can surprise them with your own.

Tv people not saying much about the GG... Just that it happened. At least the GG had a pair to stand up to the BG. That alone is something this country needs more of.

I couldn't agree more! Kinda makes me think about training, and where some of the gaps in it are...

Seems to me if you're in a life or death struggle with someone there oughta be a 30-second rule, allowing you to kill the SOB for that period of time after wrestling the gun away from him. Come to think of it, that' another reason to always carry a knife. They're not registered and you can stick it in the BG's hand. Doh!
