    Default .380 Marketed as the Coyote Special

    You may remember that TX Gov Perry pulled a pistol and dispatched a coyote while he was jogging a couple of months ago. Now, we have a new model Ruger to enjoy. See the story here:

    So, the gov has a CWP or was he on his own land? Great to know. Shame you guys can't get OC reenabled there in TX.

    He was jogging in a neighborhood he lives in and yes, he has a TX CHL (Concealed Handgun License) and was using JHP in his .380

    Damn! Good shot, hitting a coyote with a .380. Must've stuck it in his mouth when the coyote attacked him.

    I might need one. They may be a collectors item someday. Then again a few more years of the Obamanation and all guns might be collectors items.

    One gun shop in Austin (McBrides) is carrying this one. I understand it is backordered now. Sells for under $400.
