I just had a set of Green / Green TruGlo TFO sights installed on my XD. Awesome! As well as being visible in low light conditions, the fibre optic tubes also make them really bright in high glare conditions.
Best thing for me is how easily I can find the target again after recoil - much easier with big bright green dots than the standard while dots (apparently we over-40's people find it harder to refocus compared to youngsters).
These sights make a great pistol even better![]()

Got to agree with you. Since putting TFO's on one of my glock 30's ,i have been able tocompare them to all the different brands of trit's i have on other firearms. I like them better than meps , triji's and glock's ns's. TFO's are great day or night and are very well built. A+
The only ns i enjoy more or about the same are my ameriglo operator series ,pro operators. These are very flat to the slide and are not encircled with a white outline. They are green dots that are piercingly bright and with ameriglos large front ,luminova outlined tritium front sight ,it really rivals XS in a front sight oriented ,quick focus system. Ameriglo uses trijicon inserts but are brighter in the glowing aspect imo.
I carry all green TFO's every day and love em.
NEVER FORGET 9*11*01
[QUOTE=6shootercarry;141980]And where are the pictures? Gun Porn!!!QUOTE]
Sorry - my bad ........
Got some pictures now - not the best quality unfortunately -- don't spend as much money on cameras as I do guns
Note that the fit with the holster is still good.
I hadTruGlo TFO on my H&K USP .45. They were very easy to see; bright in the daylight and night. However the front sight came apart during the Wyoming IDPA State championship a few years back, so I did some searching and found that mine was not an isolated incident. TruGlo must have become aware and taken steps to rectify that deficiency in their product as I have not heard nor read about it nearly as much. I carry with XS 24/7 Express Sights with their Big Dot front sight.
You can give peace a chance alright..
I'll seek cover in case it goes badly..
