I'm flying to Wisconsin from Vegas in about 3 weeks and driving back. I know they'll not honor my CHL and carrying in the vehicle is forbidden.

Are there any facts I should know about bringing my handguns in by air and transporting them out of state before I reach states that honor my carry permits? I have checked the states along my possible routes and know where my permits (NV and UT) are accepted; I'd just like to know if there are any specific facts or quirks that someone can help me with.
