I was in Charlotte, 70,000 people rolled in (obviously not all were members), they spent $20 million in/around Charlotte, 400 exhibitors in 300,000 SF of hall space.

I assume you've looked at this year's web site to see the events scheduled, exhibitor list, etc.

Worth going, especially if you've never attended.

Went to Charlotte last year...amazing. Was quite surprised at the number of families and women that were there. Exhibits are pretty neat.

Was Charlotte the place that the hotels did not have any no guns signs posted until the guest checked in then the signs went up and instantly made criminals out of the guest that were there for the convention?

That's just crazy. Be tough but all there for the convention should ask for their money back and leave or tell them to take their signs down!
I am definitely going. Booked the hotel and called the NRA so that I can volunteer.
