Mossberg/Maverick customer service less then great. I placed an order for a stock for my Mossberg/Maverick model 88, to replace the pistol grip on it now. When I placed the order the customer service agent said nothing to me about it taking two-three weeks before a order ships. I placed the order Feb 11th and just got the stock today. I was less then impressed with the customer service that they gave me. Not only are half of the items on their website out of stock(when in fact they are in stock.) But the turn around time is total CRAP! I was told if I wanted to pay another 40-50 dollars they did have a VIP/priority two day shipping list. That would ensure my items would ship first and I would have them in two days. I told them I was not about to spend eighty dollars on factory stock.
They then told me that factory orders would be filled first and if they needed my items to build a said firearm. I would have to wait till parts became available that were not needed for a factory build. I will never again order an items direct from Mossberg/Maverick! I will use third parties from now on, to ensure I get my items in a weeks time Vs half a month!

basic math?? hate to tell u this but from ur own time u stated it was 21 days exactly 3 weeks...which is what they told u to start with......
so why are u complaining???
they delivered when they said they would.........also half a month is 2 weeks....again not trying to criticize just pointing out the flaws to ur logic....
Really? Where in my post did I state that they told me it would take three weeks? Try reading again what I posted "I stated THEY DID NOT TELL ME." check it out !!!! I don't know if you ever heard of MIDWAY USA , I have used them alot and I have to say that they are the best out there in forms . Shipping is awsome really fast and customer service the best and really good products !!!
I have used them in the past, overall they are outstanding. But in this case all I wanted was a factory stock. All they had was speed feed stocks and forends combo kits. Seeing as how it's a 88, it would require me to install a two rail slide tube. In order to be able to change out the stock factory forend, that was to much money. Plus I like the stock forend and have no need to change it.

Masterpiece Arms say that items ordered from them take 2-4 weeks. Ordered late on March 3, arrived on March 9. Not bad for ground transport.
