Have you thought about the XD .40 sub compact. That's what I've been looking at. I've shot it a few times and found it a lot more manageable than the Glock sub compact .40.

The PX is a 'chunky' gun (wide in the slide, not to fit in the grip) and a bit of a challenge to conceal well in lighter clothing. I've got the PX 4 in both 9 and 40. Fun guns to shoot, but nothing really worth writing home about and certainly not one that I personally carry. The Glock 27 is a fine conceal carry and not that much more than the Beretta ($50 to $75 depending on options for a GEN3 - $100+ for a GEN 4).

The XD40 would make a great conceal and carry gun if you want to potentially blow your own n-uts off due to the lack of a traditional safety haha!

I carry an XD9 SC everyday and my nuts are still in place. It doesn't have a traditional safety but neither does a Glock and it seems to work well for a lot of cops and other people.

I would really consider the XD, it's a nice option price-wise.

XD blah! that PX4 is a cadillac. I carried the Px4sc in 9 for over a year as edc. I love the way it looked and shot so dreamy. I think if you fire the PX4 you'll fall in love on the spot. There is no way on God's green earth that'll you'll regret getting that PX4.

I no longer have my px4 because i left 9 for .357 sig and .45 acp. as edc. If you like the PX4 and don't it get cause of others people thoughts you'll regret it.

XD are great guns tons of people love em, but that Italian crafted masterpiece is amazing.
