Around 20 men sat in a pub secretly discussing how to defeat the British as they came to disarm the population. They put their businesses, fortunes, inheritances, land, families and lives on the line to fight a tyranical government that would dare charge a <2% tax on tea and sook to disarm the population.

On the other hand there were thousands like you. Who gave their homes and the virginity of their daughters up to the soldiers they were required to quarter in their homes. Than they simply gave up their arms so as not to "break the law".

I just told you that to make you feel better. Our early history wasn't filled with heroes. There were plenty of sheep like yourself. You are a part of our history too. Feel better?

I'm no sheep, I'm just not paranoid. Believe me, if someone comes trying to take my home, guns, family etc. there will be plenty of lead flying. I will even go help you out if the govt ever does try this. I'm not saying you are wrong with what you believe, it's just not my belief (well to that paranoid point). Fair enough brother. Funny you think I'm paranoid about the government, but half the population thinks everybody on this forum is paranoid for having a firearm.

God bless you too, sorry for being so confrontational on this, I just see our liberties slipping away more and more everyday and it's sickening. I've got a young daughter and two grandkids who are going to have to live in this mess once I'm gone.

Ya know the last couple of post got me thinking, which is a scary thing

What if the government ever did try to collect all of our guns.

We would make a better presence if we banded together....That would be easy enough to do with the ability to communicate over the internet...But what if they made the decision to take the guns and at the same time took the internet down...

Phones will be down too. Join a gun club or try to find a sane militia. Get a plan together. Local police dept might be a place to congregate assuming they aren't brain washed onto the feds side if shtf. I think the majority of us would die lone wolf due to lack of a plan. Im not prepared honestly.
