    Thanks for the advice I will be sure it stays clean or wife will. I always clean the guns as soon as I get back from shooting everytime .

    Just my .02, but I bought my wife a Kel-tec PF9 on the recommendation of my local deputy friend. Great little gem. I've even borrowed a couple times this last summer for pocket carry. .22s are fun to plink, but not serious self defense weapons. Just sayin'.

    I completely agree with the .22 not being for self defense, just got her the p22 for her first. When she is more comfortable i plan on getting her a .38.

    Just got mine a Ruger LCR .38 special. She loves it and it has comfortable grips for her. Plus it has the power to drop the threat where it stands.
