    thanks again
I buy the full moon and cut it the way I like it. I make a combat cut and cut the leather for the length of the gun. After wearing it for a while I cut off all the unecessary leather. Cut a little at a time to prevent cutting it more than you really want. I always leave leather covering the slide so it does not dig into you. I remove the leather from under the grip so you can get a good grip on the gun. You can cut it to fit you.

Take a look at Tucker Gunleather for OWB and IWB holster's. They support all XD and XDm's. I have "The Answer" for my M&P 45 compact. It's similar to Crosbreed, Kholster, and, Comp-Tac. Mine has the optional leather lining for kydex. It’s a nice touch and one of the reasons I bought it. The big reason is the support of 1-3/4 inch belts. That has been a bigger limiting factor than I had expected.

    Look at clevelandholsters.com

The holster has more adjustment point for the holsters cant.
Furthermore, about half the price of the crossbreed.

They use Chicago screw set's. This allows you to change out the scabbard....

I recommend the Maxtuck from White Hat Holsters. Hybrid like the crossbreed but you can change the scabbard easily if you want to carry a different pistol. The turn around time is shorter than the Crossbreed. I wear mine 14 hours a day average. Super comfortable even while driving.

if you have the SC model, get the Crescent. It will cover the whole barrel and grip. And if you want to trim it, there is still plenty of options. I recommend NOT trimming it until you've worn it about a week. Once you trim it comfort will diminish considerably. Just my 2 cents :)

I have carried my XD40 in a Crossbreed Supertuck for two years now. I hang it on a Cabelas Double Duty belt. Make sure you get an appropriate belt to carry the extra weight and stabilize your pistol in its holster, no matter what brand you invest in! It makes a big difference in your comfort level, to not have your pants sagging or your holstered firearm changing position if you need to be more active!

I have to agree with others..The belt is as important to comfort as the holster. I bought my first Kydex / Leather belt a few weeks ago and have to say it is better that the old duty belts we had to wear back in the day!
I picked mine up at a gun show....There address is

I have the sub-compact XD-40, and use the paddle holster you'll find here...

    XD9, XD40 SUB COMPACT 3" — DeSantis Holster

These holsters are specifically for the XD40 and XD9 sub-compacts.

Personally, I have the paddle holster for my XD-40. It works great.
