I have an XDM 4.5 in .40S&W. very nice Handgun. I feel the sights are excellent. The trigger is smooth and crisp and consistant. I do not have an issue with the mag release, nor grip safety. I have found that for me it is actually as concealable as my G23,both IWB, although it is 3/4" longer in the grip. Shoots well with all ammo, gets back on target quickly. I have large hands, but found the small grip strap works best for me. I consider it a very good purchase.

I have the 9mm and LOVE it, I'm going to get the XDM compact .45 SOON....

I have an XDm9 and feels great in my hand.
I've tried a few different types of ammo brands (cheap and expensive) and never had FTF or FTE.
I have no issues with the mag release but I don't shoot IDPA so I don't know how it would work there.

Great firearm, used it through the police academy and the instructor fired it as well. Once he was done he started trying to figure when he had time to go purchase one. Excellent overall easy to break down and clean just price is high.
