Or in the politics section. The base of the symbol for the Fascist flag and the symbols seen on the Congress wall both use the symbolic gathered bundle of reeds to symbolize strenght in numbers. You'll find symbols like that all the way back to Biblical times.

I have a problem with this but at least they did it on federal property. Coincidentally, earlier today I had a discussion with a co-worker and I expressed my disapproval of random police roadblocks/checkpoints, even on nights when drunk driving may more of a threat than usual (i.e. New Year's Eve, etc.). While I appreciate the stated goals, I don't like the methods.

With all due respect, bud......you're putting the cart before the horse. Fascism is relatively new. The symbols of our government have been around a lot longer. Even the Swastika is an ancient symbol that the Nazis chose to bastardize. Besides, the resemblance between the symbols you're comparing is shaky at best. You call yourself "The Outlaw"....does that mean you're a member of the Outlaws motorcycle gang and you deal drugs, extort people, commit murder, etc. etc?? Of course not. Would you consider changing your screen name because of the negative actions of others?? Highly unlikely. I don't expect our government to do so either.

Besides....it would probably take 5 years and $2 billion just to get those two wall-hangings replaced!
