Love my BT 380. Its my daily carry and have only had 1 minor problem with it. The screw to the rear sight fell out and I lost the spring. Replacement was only $1 though and just put some loctite on it when I reinstalled.
Recoil wasn't the issue in my case, just making a point that it has more than my beretta 9mm (not sure if that comment was meant for me or the original posting). The Bersa fits my wife's smaller hands better. I feel like I'm strangling the gun because it is a smaller gun than my PX4 SubComp is. No need or use for a .22 in my house, sling shot would be better than that.![]()

I have the Bersa UCPro .45....great gun...under$400!!!!!
I do not own either, but own an uc45 and I love it nothing like it. If you ever get the chance try one.
Thank you to everyone who responded. I went to my local gun store and bought a BT 380 today. Since they don't have a range there, I came home. Thinking that I had more ammo at home than I did, I didn't pick up any. So it's off to get some ammo for "break-in" (me, not the gun)and then finding time to shoot. Give me a week or two and I'll be ready to carry it.
I have a Bersa thunder 380, walther pk380 & sig p238. For the money get walther, for size and looks get sig. (walther is also handsome) Bersa thunder is a cheaper walther ppk with a harder recoil. Pk380 is smoothest operating gun with soft springs and gentle recoil.
Thoroughly love my Thunder .380! Fits perfectly in a pocket holster in a cargo pants/shorts pocket too!
