Make a center console holster

I made this holster today to hook under the arm rest of my center console. The pistol rest between the seat and console..

I'm going to re-work the hooks to make them more uniform...

It could use some refinement but I have to say it makes the weapon very convenient. I wanted to take is out of my holster and keep it handy while driving...

I'll get a couple tomorrow when it is light and post them....I think I could have placed the hooks closer to the holster. I sits down just below seat level...I put this in my F-350 Ford.

Very nice. I'm thinking something along the same way with my 2011 Explorer. Just trying to decide which gun/holster to use.

I used Kydex for my Warthog...

Took some photos with the holster in place..
I wanted the weapon to sit lower so it was not so visible..

Would be easy to make it sit higher by making the leather backing shorter.
