Question Is anyone interested in some friendly competition ***Updated***

I have an idea, feel free to critique or give suggestions.

It's not like people on the forum can meet up for some range time, so I came up with an idea. If it flies.... awesome... if it flops... ooh well.

So this is how it would work. A target would be provided for you to download and print. A distance and number of rounds would be established. Anyone that wanted to participate would be given two weeks to get to the range and get a picture of the results uploaded to the forum. From there a winner would be announced and a new competition would begin. We would police ourselves, this would depend on honesty from each person, and if the group came to a consensus that someone was being dishonest they would be asked to no longer participate.

We would set up competitions for "like" weapons such as semi-auto pistols, 22s with scopes, ARs with optics or iron sights etc. It would take a little while to work out the kinks but this could be fun.

I have my big boy underware on.... so if this idea sucks feel free to say so. If you are interested... let me know.

    ******Update*******
I just created a group called "Friendly Firearms Competition"

Anyone interested join, it has the details.

If your range has limitations that conflict with the competition, still participate, just explain when you upload your results. This is all in fun... so have a good time.

We shoot these in other forums I'm on. It's kinda cool. I'd be game.

When liberals run out of other people's right to infridge upon, how many will give up theirs?

Yeah, there are postal matches on another forum I'm on, too. Since they're usually themed (one month "your carry weapon", the next "full scope target .22," the next "iron sights only .45", etc,) I can't participate every time, so another string would be good.

Saw this on the Handloaders Bench one time. Some of those guys can really shoot. Something an 8x11 piece of paper with 12 dots and 12 shots. You had to hit dime sized bull and 100 yds.
    It would be fun.

I would like to join in as long as it's okay that I shoot at my home setup. I measure accurately but my longest distance for stance to target is 25 yards. The only range I know of near me is 30 miles away and private.

My local indoor is only 50ft. I would need to opt out of scoped competitions. I can shoot .22, 9mm, and .45all reg sights.
