    Talking LEO only?

Just a hunch, It looks like a way to get a lot of free publicity.
The amount of discussion of new things as people get home after SHOT picks up as they share with friends all the new info. Imagine several new .380's come out no big deal. One is LEO only, so what one will people ask about?
Some people will want it just because!

Fantasay Football League? I never quite got that ... what's that all about, Elves, Orks and Dwarfs playing against Unicorns and such?

It beats me why Glock would offer that to LEO only - it's not a MORE powerful caliber after all and not exactly the smallest size. The more I think about it the less I understand why they would want to offer it at all. Probably just because some people kept bugging them about it?

The Glock 25 is a 380 the size of a model 19. My reaction to these is why in the world would I want a Glock in 380. Unless you are in a Country that regulates what a civilian can carry the only reason I can see for a 380 is to reduce size and weight which the Glocks don't. I have a Model 27 that I don't carry regularly becuase it's a brick compared to my Ruger LC9.

I could have had a 23, 25, or 17 the other day. Or a 21 in .45. One of these to be exact.

Yeah ... I have yet to figure out, too, why Glock would want to build this model.

Why would you want a Glock to begin with---especially in a 19 sized 380....LOL.

There have been and still are lawmen in my family, and none of them has ever expressed a desire to carry a .380 as a service pistol. That said, the G25 was designed specifically for So. American civilians because many S.A. countries don't allow civilians to carry handguns in military calibers

In addition the 380 Glock was developed for European Countries that have laws against their citizens owning "cartridges of war" (9mm or 45). For this reason they haven't wanted to make it importable, as it's not marketed in the USA at all. Got this info last year in a conversation with our Glock Regional Manager. I'm a LEO and I can't get one either. That's just what they put on their website. The way it is now you won't see them in the states anytime soon. Their other pistols have enough success that they have no desire to get into the 380 market in the US.

Their explanation is that it's for markets in South America and others that restrict civilians from military calibers. They can't buy 9mm or 45 but the military doesn't use 380. Fortunately we can buy these more effective calibers. Don't get me wrong, I own a 380 in a Ruger LCP and love it because of it's concealability, but why buy a 380 that doesn't conceal any better than my Model 27 in 40 cal?
