An illegal alien, in Polk County, Florida, who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop, ended up "executing" the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded, and a police dog killed. A state-wide manhunt ensued.
The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area. As soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him. They hit the guy 68 times.
Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor, undocumented immigrant 68 times.
Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: "Because that's all the ammunition we had." Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what!
The Coroner also reported that the illegal alien died of natural causes. When asked by a reporter how that could be, since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied: (BEST QUOTE ever) ... "When you are shot 68 times you are naturally gonna die."

I'm guessing he didn't notify the officer he was carrying a concealed - or not concealed - weapon when he was stopped, either.
I have read this report before and I am really glad that guy's dead. Good guys...Hope there are many more of him and them that support him.

I thought the statements attributed to the sheriff and the coroner were pretty funny.
Obama does not wish to offer amnesty to illegal immigrants who commit OTHER crimes while they are here. And last I checked, Gingrich was also suggesting amnesty for illegals.

Funny stuff, but the statements are so over the top - especially the sheriff's, that I have to question their legitamacy. Sounds like just one of a thousand of those "Wouldn't it be funny if somebody said...." things that take on a life of their own, an urban legend of sorts. As shown in the linked article, any LEO that would openly declare that his force will simply execute a suspected cop-killer with "no arrest, no miranda" would be opening a massive can of worms. I just find it hard to believe that was actually said in public.
